October 22, 2022 - Deep yellow color. Decanted for thirty minutes.
Very interesting and fragrant nose of petroleum, yellow apples, candle wax, lemon blossom. Medium acidity - well integrated flavors with refined apple and sweet almond notes, oak, slight lemon notes, flint. The ending has balanced notes of lemon-verbena, white peach and slight vegetable notes to balance any sweetness from the oak. An incredible white wine - very enjoyable now but certainly with a lot of aging potential. A stunner white! -

October 22, 2022 - Light yellow. On 👃 , very spicy pepper, lemon zest, charcoal, flint. Very refreshing, highly acidic, quite grippy.

January 31, 2022 - Austin 3-star food + wine; 1/30/2022-1/31/2022 (Our residence, Austin, TX): This was my white wine of the night on the greatest night of tasting I've ever enjoyed. First time enjoying l'Ermite Blanc, and it blew my mind. Like drinking liquified granite. Genuinely amazing. Fired up that I have a few bottles of 2015, but now I'm hooked and want more.

January 30, 2022 - A perfect wine to me, with an almost overwhelming array of aromas, including honeysuckle, almond, tropical fruit and quince. These flavors carry over when tasted with white peach and mango. This will last at least another 20 years but is drinking fantastically right now.
