  November 5, 2023 - Tasting Ground official tasting, 2015 New World Whites (Jerar restaurant): Hunter Valley, best old vineyards, sandy free draining soils, the oldest blocks planted 1923, stainless steel fermentation, bottled early to maintain freshness, picked at low Beaume (10-11), minimal handling, 11%

  Bright, low intensity in the nose, reserved but layered, you can feel tension rising with each minute in the glass
  Palate is tight, high acidity, med body, citrus, lime, very fresh, smooth which is amazing for such a young Vat 1, long finish
  With time you also get some ripe fruit flavors, and its famous flinty/smoked notes

  September 15, 2023 - Bordeaux blends Paulée with Lay & Wheeler (The George): I'm sure this was served too young, as it was seriously anaemic, like dilute lime cordial. I'm going to quote Tim Jackson MW, as he has nailed the wine: "Crisp, with a classic lemon-lime tang, underpinned by a subtle hint of salinity. The acidity has a lot of length and there’s enough of a sense of extract here that suggests flavour will fill out there too over time, though this is unlikely to be a great Vat 1."

  July 28, 2023 - On the palate, it’s all lemon, lime, and grapefruit. A very citrusy gal, indeed. Good amount of fresh acidity rolling across the tip of the tongue and up the sides. Medium bodied with a relatively lengthy finish. Very slightly buttery note on the backend—some time in oak, perhaps?

  June 17, 2023 - Nez sur ma pomme, agrumes, assez explosif.
  
  Bouche assez stricte mais avec un gras inattendu en milieu de bouche étonnant. C’est très sûr les ressentis minéraux, beaucoup d’acidité, c’est encore un très jeune vin.
  
  Inusité et comme toujours très bien fait.
