Community Tasting Notes 3

February 10, 2017 - High acidity, bone dry, strong tannins which soften after an hour. Typical cab nose and long finish. Needs some strong food to balance it.

    December 20, 2015 - ruby red
    very tight slight cassis
    cassis vegetal a little
higher tannins still mod 6 and mod body

December 20, 2015 - A Tour of Stellenbosch WIneries; 12/17/2015-12/20/2015 (The Estates in Stellenbosch): This is a big tannic but not a fruit bomb Napa style cab.

Fruity nose and initial front palate but dry and high tannins (8/10). - and as for the Ansela vd Caab, I am concerned my rating may be high - maybe a point or 2 lower
