  September 30, 2019 - Deep ruby red with red brim. Very pleasant nose with lots of dark fruit, toasted wood and notes of plums, black currants, cherries and a touch of tobacco and cinnamon. Mouthfeel is deep, elegant, with lots of dark fruit, firm but well integrated tannins, nice acidity and notes of plums, black currants, toasted wood, some tobacco and some hints of coffee and dark chocolate in the long finish.
  
  Very nice Saint-Émilion with a quite odd blend, as it is actually 50 % of cabernet sauvignon (and 50 % merlot).

  October 10, 2017 - mittlere bis dunklere Farbe, leichter Wasserrand, aber noch ohne Reifetönung. Relativ röstig, Karamell, braune Butter, die Frucht wirkt kühl. Hat eine relativ hohe Säure im Vergleich (50% Cabernet!), feinerer und strukturierter Typ, ziemlich griffig, aber andererseits auch verschlossen. Der braucht noch mindestens fünf Jahre Zeit.

  September 8, 2016 - Mín leið í gegnum Haugen smakkið (Gamla Bíó): Ég var mjög hrifinn af þessu víni. Að mínu áliti voru þetta og svo La Torre Muga flottustu vín kvöldsins. Ilmurinn var gríðarlega flottur. Mikill, höfugur og fágaður. Flottur árgangur líka. Þægilegt í munni líka. Silkimjúkt og glæsilegt. Kostar reyndar sitt eða 12,5k. Maður hefði náttúrlega átt að enda á þessu víni en það gat maður ekki vitað fyrirfram.
