February 21, 2016 - Such evident paprika and (by no means over the top) barnyard on the nose that I instantly thought of Loire. With time those give more room to the blackcurrant-y fruit and typical herbal notes and it becomes easier to believe that one is drinking a wine from Provence. The palate is medium-to-full-bodied and chewy with solid acidity and ripe, gently gripping tannins. There is plenty of savory red fruit that seems surprisingly polished but is delicious nonetheless. Very bright with good lift - this is just too easy to enjoy. Impeccable balance with a nice clean finish. Despite possessing good richness to it this has only 13 % ABV and is very light on its feet. Considering the 14 € price tag I really should get a case of this for summer barbecues.
