September 5, 2022 - Gorgeous. Perfect age and balance.

April 24, 2021 - This was very nice. Popped and poured and it was a bit closed down at first, but opened up quickly as it warmed up. Dark burgundy color with a classic Napa cab profile of dark fruits though still a touch exotic. Nice long finish with a hint of port-like richness. No danger of falling off a cliff soon, but also probably not getting any better. Drink up and enjoy.

January 30, 2018 - Had this over three nights (while storing w/nitrogen) and each time it was fantastic. It was best after two hours of air.
Dark and subtle/mellow fruit, smooth, plush and fabulous aromatics.
It can probably last another year or two, but it's so good now I'd drink what you have sooner than later.

    August 18, 2017 - What a surprise!
This wine is really strutting its stuff. It was rich, fresh, balanced with lovely drank fruit and wonderful depth.
We did not get much on the aroma front but we did not decant. This wine must be decanted to be fully enjoyed and appreciated.
We finished this wine a day later; it was just as good, and the aromatics were present --- very, very nice.
I tip my hat to the two great ladies who make Drinkward Peschon and to Don Gillette of the Napa Valley Winery Exchange for suggesting that I buy it.

July 4, 2017 - had this over three days. initially sweet and hot. Never quite went anywhere aromatically. Soft, seamless, resolved, but lacking that higher level of complexity I expect. The younger ones I've had, from 2010-2014 have all been great out of the gate, including the fairly lean 2011. Dont know if style has changed to match trends, but the 2001 and 2004 were botsweet and hot and high glycerin but not particularly elegant wines. The 2013, by comparison, was outstanding. Begs that perennial question of how long should you rest these modern Napa cabs before drinking?
