    March 26, 2024 - Marvelous nose ... black fruit,dark chocolate,hints of truffle,tobacco leaves,spices,graphite.Full-bodied,rich,thick palate,excellent depth and insane concentration.Perfectly proportioned,very long and with perfect amount of acidity.5 years ago it was more hedonistic,now it's more on the intellectual side.I liked it more on its hedonistic side.

    November 23, 2023 - Pnp; fairly tight nose at first; ruby with only slight rimming; medium bodied with silky smooth tannins, dark berries, dark chocolate, gradually sweetening over about 2 hours with added notes of spices, subtle sous bois, some red berry, lasting dry finish; drank side by side with Kapcsandy Roberta’s Reserve and thiugh it started out slower, caught up by the end; looks to have years ahead of it; a decant in order, maybe an hour; fabulous with elk, antelope and duck;

    October 22, 2023 - Dark red. Rich, velvety starting to acquire tertiary flavors. Relatively long

    April 3, 2023 - From Magnum. Red and blue fruits, yellow tobbacco leaves, spice box scents, followed by a reasonnably concentrated mouth, surprisingly lifted and fresh, ending in a long chalky finish. I was expecting more power and concentration for the vintage. This beautiful wine, a peculiar character in St Emilion, will continue to age well. I loved it.

    January 29, 2023 - A little pruney on opening but blew off in ~15 mins. 2 hour decant mellowed it out to a well integrated wine with lots of acids, primary merlot-driven red fruit and earthy notes. We enjoyed this, but it seemed a little simple.
