July 26, 2015 - Popped and poured. Medium dark yellow. Apricot, white flower and apple bouquet. Palate is similar, with a kerosene note and minerality arriving in the mid-palate. Acidity becomes pronounced on the final.
For me this was more disjointed tonight than my previous bottles. Perhaps I should have finished this (this was my last bottle) a few years ago. Still - sad to have finished this wine as I have wonderful memories of previous bottles. -

May 13, 2015 - Bright golden yellow.
Delicate and ultra light, sweet floral aroma.
Off-dry, but with piercing acidity. Quite fresh and lively, but a bit thin. Not much complexity and seemingly almost no secondary development as of yet, except for a hint of honeyed fruit. -

February 20, 2015 - Time is gently transforming this wine.
The frangrance of flowers and fresh fruit are slowly dissipating.
On the plate this is rich and dense with hints of honey and toffee and petrol - held up by a quite austere acidity.
Good, not mind blowing - but enjoyable.
Very limited secondary development - You may easily keep this longer if stored correctly.
I will be waiting patiently to see where my remaining bottles go from here. -

December 19, 2014 - Popped and poured. Followed over 2 hours. Dark yellow. Sulfur tinged mineral bouquet with deep orchard fruit and white flower scents. Full bodied viscous entry quickly proceeding to an electric acidity tinged mid-palate showing white flower and orchard/tropical fruits. Acidity very prominent and draws the final out for close to a minute.
I think this has hit the apogee now and can still hold for a few more years but won't gain in complexity. Rich and rewarding - works well on its own en apperitif but could also pair well with Alsacian onion pie.1 person found this helpful Comment -

June 28, 2013 - Deep golden colour. A complex nose of medium plus intensity with notes of ripe to dried apricots, fresh bread, honey and hazelnut and this note resembling pickles, that can be found in many Alsatian Rieslings. In the mouth this is full bodied, with ripe apricot and honey flavours that are at the same time wonderfully dry; the high acidity is perfectly balanced and the finish very long. In a word: brilliant.
