July 26, 2013 - Notes of plum, vanilla, boysenberry, red fruit, grapey dark fruit and a subtle earthy funk. Tannins are integrating, but still make their presence known. Vanilla, plum, boysenberry and dark fruit flavors. Medium finish.

July 16, 2013 - This wine is clear of medium tawny colour with a wide rim. The nose is flawed, it's clearly oxidized and fully developed with medium+ intensity aromas of mushrooms, varnish, toffee, coffee, nuts and hints of red cherries in the background. It's dry in the mouth with a medium balanced acidity, medium- tannins, medium alcohol, medium- body and medium- intensity flavours of mushrooms, toffee, coffee, nuts, varnish and faint notes of red fruit. Short finish. This wine may have been interesting at some time, but today is clearly dead and past it's best. It would not be fair to rate it.

January 6, 2012 - Dark cranberry color. Cloudy. Nose a combination of sweet red berries and forest floor and wet leaves. Palate still quite tannic. Full rich mouthfeel. Opened up in the glass over a few hours. Mostly earthy and woody palate. Not much fruit.
