November 5, 2022 - A bit tart with some hard edges. On the leaner side which i prefer. OK bottle. I would have guessed 2013 vintage.

  • Pinot Peter Likes this wine:

November 6, 2020 - Medium red , good acidity, no noticeable nose, tannins still have an edge to them but there is ample dark fruit flavours that linger as you taste this wine, good length.
Needs more time to harmonize but is getting better with each glass... slightly fatter, richer in fruit flavours

October 2, 2020 - Vibrant and with a nice pure Pinot Noir fruit with some stony minerality underneath. Nice wine. 89-91P

May 9, 2016 - Still very much red fruited but a little deeper than the village wine. It had the perfume of violets and real chalky structure.

March 24, 2016 - DIVA Burgundy Tasting (Maison Champy - Beaune): Tasting, brief note. a clear step up from the Villages level. Better fruit concentration, but clearly more floral and spice elements here. VG for its level.
