January 24, 2024 - The Grill with DJCV. A supple and light wine with more aromatic freshness than vivavity on the palate. Neither overtly elegant nor structured. Perhaps in need of more time to reveal its secrets.

May 31, 2022 - Surprisingly expressive and giving at the beginning. Red fruits with some sous bois and tertiary notes. Tart cherries, plums, carob, vanillin, red liquorice. Lacy, mouth coating tannins. With about an hour of air the oak notes started to dominate the wine quite a bit. Adept use of oak, but oak dominant nonetheless. Three hours in the oak started to mellow a bit, but its fingerprint still remained quite visible for the remainder of the bottle.

February 23, 2022 - At Pappa’s Houston Downtown. Hyper feminine with rather faint aromas that blossomed more with time. Fresh mid-palate with a lingering smooth finish. Not an immediate knock-out but grows on you.

Fremstår som kraftig og noe upolert/rustikk for øyeblikket. Overveldende fruktkonsentrasjon. Lang utgang, men dette drikker ikke bra nå. Trenger desperat tid. Prøv igjen om 10 år.

June 29, 2015 - Domaine Roumier Cellar Visit and Tasting: From neutral barrel, 1 of 4 barrels for the vintage, of which 1 is new. Slightly reductive with large scaled black, red and blue fruit underneath. Very powerful start, very elegant and textural finish.
