November 14, 2022 - Vosne or Volnay?: Quite confident this was my wine based on previous experiences with Bouley, was happy that I finally got something right. Very pretty red-fruited nose with some stem influence, good depth and structure (which made sense given the plot on revealing) but thought it was from a lighter vintage. This was more ready to go compared to the '13 Caillerets for sure.

July 10, 2021 - As per my Sept.18th ,2020 review my tasting of another bottle reinforces to me how much I enjoy this wine.
This is just getting into a prime drinking window.
Has the capability to even get better. Dark fruit flavours primarily cherry, good acidity, moderate tannins, good length. A slight dryness from the tannins but a sweetness also from the fruit. A yummy wine!

  • Pinot Peter Does not like this wine:

September 18, 2020 - Dark red, good acidity, dark fruit with an slight earthiness flavour, slight fruit nose, good length, fruit dominant with soft tannins. Expanding flavour with each glass. Great drinking wine now.

February 5, 2018 - Dark ruby color. Toasted cherry nose, stony wet wool almost like a Gevrey. Well balanced but clearly wooded. Great entry, smooth profile with a bit of liquorice in the last half with tannins well back and refined. Even acidity. Very tasty now with good vibrancy and a long finish. Although not weighty in the mouth, there is a fair amount happening here for quite a young wine. Needs time but surprisingly approachable.
