November 13, 2021 - Found this very enjoyable. Squashed red fruits, touch of cold tea leaf, a wine built more on acid than tannin. May be a little skinny for some. And yes, I agree with the other tasters - the finish is short, almost abrupt.

October 11, 2019 - Yeah a bit disappointing at this stage. Very simple and agree a short finish. High acidity might be hiding the fruit so hope another couple of years will fill out this wine otherwise off to auction. Disappointing

March 25, 2019 - Pooley Cooinda Vale Pinot Noir Vertical (Dench Cafe): Ripe, rich fruit & spice. Very open. Quite ripe. Nice fruit. Some tea-like characters. Soft. Medium acid. Good but not great length.
Second tasting similar.

December 27, 2016 - Tasted at vineyard December 2016. More delicate, feminine style to the estate and Butchers Hill pinots of their. Raspberry and cherry characters, spicy, still short finish. $58
