  November 20, 2021 - Huge nose on this one. Tons of red and black fruit, stones, tar, smoke, spice and olive tapenade. Velvety and lush with soft but still substantial tannins and a mouthful of dark cherry, liquorice and espresso. Nice long and smooth finish. Very nice Syrah from Gramercy.

  April 19, 2019 - This is one of the better Gramercy syrahs I've tried. It is smooth, sweet, and easy drinking (like all Gramercy wines), but it has a complex flavor profile with lots of rubber, bacon, and jalapeño (in addition to the core of sweet ripe blueberry and blackberry fruit). The wine doesn't seem ageworthy given the lack of concentration, tannins, and acidity. At any rate, it is certainly ready to drink now.
