May 26, 2022 - Has not moved. Abundance of sweet Grenache, great harmony, light on it's feet and a real mini-Rayas - you could spot it a mile away. I am saddened, that these wine are now out of my reach, should have stocked up even more than I did.

April 2, 2022 - My one remaining bottle of Chateau des Tours (and given the price of current releases, likely my last. While good, it was not nearly as good as Le Vieux Donjon or Pegau Cuvee Reservee Chateauneuf du Pape, which cost 1/3 the price). This Chateau des Tours CDR was dominated by overwhelming, off-putting oak at first, but the wine opened up and evolved with an hour of decanting and was quite good. Would recommend a much longer decant.
