November 28, 2023 - Bordeaux Visits - November 2023: Bright, medium ruby color. Aromas of red currant, cedar, tobacco, violets and anise. Intense red fruit expression on the palate, with minerals, tea, clove spices and graphite. Medium-plus in body with plush round tannins, finishing with moderate length.

April 15, 2023 - This showed very well with good depth of dark berry fruit and a finely-delineated finish that's already layered and complex. Tasted at Lynch Bages. 92+

January 17, 2023 - Tasting at Château Lynch-Bages. Along with 2016 Echo de Lynch Bages and 2015 Ormes de Pez. Toured the new modern and high tech wine facility completed in 2021. That in itself was a stunning experience.
Blended with more merlot. Notes of jammy red fruits, young oak barrels, milk chocolate. On the palette, soft, smooth with light tannins. Not complex but easy to drink. 90.1 person found this helpful Comment
