July 27, 2019 - Strangely a little heat on this one, burnt off after a few hours in the decanter.

April 25, 2019 - very sophisticated nose.. quite 'funky' very un-Barossa type.... dark berries with deep layers of texture.... a very satisfying experience.

February 10, 2019 - It's gorgeous. Big red fruit driven wine that isn't jammy, just concentrated with a long soft finish. I'm glad I bought three bottles. Strange that the convenient, over-priced wine store near my home is selling this for $56, which is a bargain. I am tempted to find a new vintage and compare it with my one remaining bottle.

Australian Shiraz Super Wines Blind, Episode #517, 8/12/2008 (link) 94+ points(Branson Coach House Rare Shiraz) #1; COLOR-dark; NOSE-I like this; very concentrated & focused; heavy on strawberries; explosive plum; some green peppers; big nose; lots of black cherries & blueberries; very complex nose; TASTE-Wow!!; so explosive, so rich & elegant, but the flavor on the back-end is more classic Bordeaux-like; some Vanilla custard; very well made & structured; has Cabernet characteristics in it's structure & backbone; very fruity; reminds me of The Grange, but w/ less Oak; very lean & focused; completely balanced; I really like this wine; brining obnoxious thunder; a classic style w/ the pizzazz of the New World; many will like this -- has the structure for the Old World folks and the fruit for the New World fans; WS-95; GV-94+
