October 2, 2022 - Light red color. Ripe berry aromas with leather, herbs and spices. Soft and elegant on the palate with very little tannins left. A lovely, fully mature wine.

October 26, 2020 - This was disappointing. It was very roasted and seemingly tired. We tried it right away then gave it plenty of air. Put it in the fridge and then tried it again the next day. It's just roasted and tired or it was exposed to some sort of heat that didn't cause it to leak or even penetrate the cork which was only stained at the top.

    September 23, 2018 - Robe grenat.
    Note : 17-17,5/20 i.e. 94-95/100

February 1, 2018 - A private dinner (La Cave des Climats, Paris, France): A blend of 80% Syrah and 20% Mourvèdre, aged for six years in large oak vats. Intense and powerful (14.5%), with the strong savoury, smoky, balsamic quality which comes with long ageing in wood (think Vega Sicilia), powerful and a bit dusty, more claret than Rhône, black ink, deep and spicy, black fruit, very structured with firm but ripe tannins, satiny texture, very good resonance and length. Unique style. Idiosyncratic, but the quality is undeniable.
