  December 25, 2023 - Christmas Eve, 2023. Opened at noon to serve alongside of a fireside cheese fondue. This 2012 is an exercise in harmony, the tannins having fully integrated with the remaining fruit, surprisingly fresh and alive. Not overly complex or rich, but, as another poster commented, the wine has good grip and structure. Loved by all who drank it, this wine is in its drinking window.

  December 16, 2023 - Three years since last opening one of these and it has developed and evolved well. Gave it a good 2-3 hour decant and it opened up very well. Delicate texture and fruit but plenty of structure and grip

  May 17, 2023 - Ruby core with tawny edges. Expressive notes of rose, lavender, blue fruit compote, spices and leather. Fleshy and somewhat muscular on the palate (new oak treatment?), but energetic and vibrant nonetheless. At least another decade ahead but not sure it will evolve much further.

  January 17, 2023 - On the cautious side. Gentle for Barolo. Almost barbaresco- like, which I like. Can probably stay this way or better in next 7-8 years. Good.
