February 29, 2024 - Vinous Italy Icons with Eric Guido (Feb 2024, NYC): More sandalwood and earthy than the Rampante. Dark berry and autumnal leaves. A little more open but still holding its cards and needs years.

Extrem syra, tunn, grön, viss beska.
Ö: hallonbåtar fantastiska, underbar frukt, vilken syra, komplett i munnen, brio askar.

August 24, 2018 - Talula's Table with a few Berserkers - Late Summer menu: Wow, this is a big step up in intensity and structure compared to the 2010 Passopisciaro. Red and darker flavors, mint, spice. Young and chewy. Lots of potential here, I think.

November 17, 2017 - At Dolce Vita. Bright medium ruby in color. It could pass for a Pommard, both in appearance and in terms of its flavor profile. The nose is clean, youthful, with strawberry, raspberry, red flowers and some subtle oak spice. The palate is dry, fruit-forward, consistent with the nose, with bright acidity, medium alcohol and tannins. The finish is medium (+), savory and ever so smooth. Drinking beautifully now, it will be interesting to see how it evolves.

January 7, 2017 - Very light and vibrantly colored ruby in the glass; a floral/perfumed nose, with red fruits and menthol on the nose.
Light-bodied, decent acidity, with ripe red fruits on the palate - decent persistence, with a closing tannic presence. Very impressive for such a young wine.
