May 1, 2023 - Very intense, yellow color, little acidity, some alcohol notes, lychee and exotic fruit notes.

February 1, 2022 - Nose: The nose is extremely deep and sumptuous, filling the glass with lemon oils, apples, pears, papaya, stone fruits, nectarines, white pepper, some herbs, and crushed rocks. This is the kind of nose that allows you to get lost in the glass.

Taste: The feel is Full bodied with tart, high acidity. The feel is expansive on the palate with the acidity showing off some lovely cut. There is a lot of density, depth, and balance to the feel with lemon oils, apples, pears, papaya, nectarines, white pepper, herbs, and crushed rocks.

Overall: This was decanted for a few hours and it certainly helped. This was also showing at its best with just a slight chill to allow for the hallmarks of the grape to shine through. This is right at the beginning of its window and is a superlative Gruner Veltliner.

December 25, 2021 - Excellent wine. A lot of potential ahead, but already drinking very nicely. Decanted for 2h. Pairs well with food, even better without. Hold 3-10 years

June 4, 2020 - My neighbor graced me w a quart of perfect baby bok choy, And I had some good 16/20 shrimp, and lamb merguez sausage from Jamisons. Stir fried with ginger, dried shrimp, garlic, fish sauce, shallots, and sesame oil, these strong and diverse flavors needed a wine like M. Still very young, there are terrific aromas of Jordan almonds, grapefruit custard, baby powder, and nectarine. Tremendous weight and texture, with a 60 second stone pit and nectarine skin finish. It complimented the spicy, salty and fermented flavors beautifully. A difficult but perfect pairing. This is not a simple sipping wine, but with a little thought, it’s a food compatible show stopper.
