June 10, 2023 - Ten years in bottle and seven hours in the decanter and still I think I'll leave the nest bottle for a couple years. All the black tea (Ceylon) with some black olive. With food I get (maybe!) raspberries in Kirsch. Light bodied but with smooth mouth coating tannins.

May 10, 2023 - Knights of Alba (KOA) NY Intronization - May 2023 (NY Private Club): Much more subtle in style than the barolo from the same producer and year. Mostly I get a lot of mint but in more of a tea style. Interesting. With time maybe some rose hips. Similar to its brother it’s a quieter style of wine. Solid. Wonder if some more years will help with evolution.

June 6, 2022 - Höga tanniner och medel+ syra. Ljust röd som antar tegel. Försöker komma fram till att bristen på framträdande fruktaromer är ett tecken på tunnel i väntan på ett andra liv eller om vinet nu har passerat sin 'prime'. Ändå ett bra och funktionellt vin till pasta al limone och den lammkorv som serveras.

June 2, 2019 - Supertraditionalist. Härlig och komplex näsa med krydda och röda bär. Tanninerna är väldigt påtagliga. Vinet är väldigt bra om man gillar stilen. Jag hade kanske föredragit en annan viktning mellan frukt och strävhet, men som helhet är det en häftig barbaresco.
