    December 8, 2021 - Browning at the edges (and who wouldn’t, after 21 years), paling slightly, but still fresh and rich fruit on the nose. beautiful sweet and earthy fruit on the palate. Still perfectly structured. I wish I had another dozen

    August 22, 2012 - 10x20 Victorian Tasting (Customs House, Sydney, Australia): From double magnum. I loved the aromas on this - forest floor, smoked meats, cherry and a hint of truffle. The palate is complex and textured, it has obvious age and has almost all its components resolved. I would drink this now (especially since this sample came from a 3L bottle).

    October 28, 2004 - Bindi Tasting 2004 (Brisbane): Dark inky red. More austere style than the '97. Strong plum and more oak. More gritty tannin than the '97 resulting in finer structure. Quite intense on the tongue with dark plum and cinnamon obvious. This will last a while. My favourite on the night.
