August 4, 2022 - Coravin fun - Talbot: From Coravin. slight green apple and apple skin, gooseberry, grass, creamy leesy notes. Medium plus intensity acidity strays towards sour, grass, apple skin, saline notes, a little woody texture, creamy and leesy notes. Long with the non-intrusive alcohol warmth helping to carry the finish. Okay.

    有種陳年白葡萄酒的味道。

November 24, 2020 - Coravin fun - Talbot (My place, Kent Street): From Coravin. Aromas of gooseberry, cats piss, nettle with a little lime leaf and lime peel as well as a smidge of apple. In the mouth it has medium plus intensity acidity with similar flavours, a little almond bitterness on the finish. Yum.

January 5, 2020 - A deep golden hue in the glass, this has a rich nose full of dried pineapple, candied ginger, and sea spray. The palate is rich, full bodied, and leads with intense flavors of ripe pear, honeydew melon, honeycomb, and pineapple. The winery's website notes that this is a blend of 78% Sauvignon Blanc and 22% Semillon. To me the Semillon is more dominant and the richness of this really stands out, in a positive way. This is one of those wines I bought on a whim to try, and will have to head back to find more when I can. Outstanding!!

December 14, 2019 - From Coravin. Aromas of gooseberry, honey, Granny Smith apple, a slight saline, seaside note, a little sweet spice. In the mouth it's juicy, fleshy, honeyed, similar other flavours to the nose as well. Long. Rather lovely.
