September 18, 2021 - Way too young with lots of mouthcoating, drying tannins, a sour berry fruit and stony minerals. Needs a couple of hour to open up but what it really needs is another 10 years in the cellar. Good material though. Score for tonight, good upside.

September 10, 2021 - Horizontal Volnay/Chambolle 1er cru 2015: Blind... more floral than fruity. Very typical of this producer.

91 pts

September 10, 2021 - Nice palate, soft and straight, nice balance. Not bad but nothing special given the price. 89-90

December 23, 2018 - have loved several vintages of this wine, and saw the prior notes, and know '15 can be killer, so had some high hopes (this was a test bottle from a case I bought)... wow was this a disappointment -- I am really hoping it was shut down HARD, but if not there isn't much to this wine... palate was empty, but didn't taste watered down so am assuming it is shut tight... sure hope so... I would wait ten years based on this bottle
