  March 12, 2018 - A delicious drink. Tasting blind, I might have guessed IGP Syrah or Mencia. Provocative enough without being complicated. Fine QPR.

  December 28, 2017 - Nice showing for a reasonably priced entry level wine. Lots of spice and fruit on the nose. Very fresh and full of fruit without being one dimensional. Wish the alcohol was lower (13.5%), but it carries it well.

Straightforward cherryish fruit with plenty of secondary character from the barrel without being overly oaky - leather, coffee, tobacco, dill, light vanilla. Good acidity. Soft tannins. Nothing to get contemplative over, but tasty and easy to drink, and a good low-budget value.

  May 30, 2017 - Has that tertiray smell even though its not oaked. Savory. For only stainless steel there is a ton going on. Especially at $9.99. And then full on the palate, structured, but not too much. Dark delicious in its dark fruit character. Juicy and fresh but also plump and round and there is something beyond the fruit.
