November 5, 2022 - You can find XO cognac and quality Armagnac at similar prices if you are patient and hunt around, but they are few and far between. This is -and has been in my experience- a good expression of what XO can bring to the table: Depth, oakiness, honeyed sultanas, pine forests, and layers upon layers of lingering flavors.
Solid stuff for the price. Quite solid. -

November 26, 2020 - Surprisingly good, it's got a decent richness, softness, probably a little sweetness. Well worth the $45. Versus a $100 plus for anything better.
