January 13, 2018 - Sweet, dark cherry, kirsch, with lemon squirt refreshing acidic lift. Soft, nicely-resolved sweet tannins. And added bonus of a screwcap. Excellent value. It has made me fall in love with Barbera again

October 12, 2017 - By the glass at the Peninsula bar in Chicago. Screw top, not sure how long it was open.

Medium color. Nose reticent, would not have pegged as Barbera. Thin, dried fruit profile, mostly cherry. No real follow though or secondary notes.

Not good and not getting any better...in my opinion... a big disappointment. I think other tasters may be generous here, plenty of much better choices if looking for Barbera or other Italian wines...

September 4, 2017 - Mild tannins. Somewhat tart which overpowers the flavour. Not terrible but there are better wines for a similar price.

July 20, 2017 - Very supple, virtually no tannins. Fresh cherry fruit. Excellent party wine.

March 15, 2017 - Medium bodied and quite acidic. Good food wine with dried fruit rather than fresh underpinnings. Nice for the price.
