  August 2, 2018 - SpRhones at Borough (Borough, Mpls, MN): Medium gold color. Drank a glass over 30 minutes. This didn't have the same impact as the last time we had it. This bottle seemed a bit more advanced, and I didn't really feel the love I did previously. I would lay this off to bottle variation at this point. Slightly sour apple, oxidative - and not so much in a positive way this time, tart, lychee, passion fruit with a mineral background, nature-like dry finish. 89-90pts.

  April 25, 2018 - Some Excellent Mixed Whites at Martina (Martina, Mpls): Deep golden color. Drank 1 glass over an hour. This was really nice, both on the nose and palate - rich and full bodied with a great texture, lemon, lemon oil, an oxidative quality that significantly enhanced the complexity, powdered lime, and passion fruit witha tangy core of acidity. This is wonderfully mature and complex.

  September 7, 2017 - A beautiful Blanc des Blancs for the price ($59) showing its maturity but also bags of freshness. Drinking really nicely now, but should hold well for another 5(+?) years. Clouet makes great-value Champagne, and here's the proof.
