February 18, 2022 - Though 70% merlot, I found the cab franc dominated the flavor profile and gave the wine a tannic unripeness (damson-like?) that detracted from an otherwise pleasant red. It was better the second night, but never came to together completely, and I never got the cassis or menthol, or even much oak, that the professionals noted.

April 15, 2021 - Young and tannic, surprisingly so, but this is a really attractive wine that expresses Merlot well. Definitely a lot of oak, but the fruit always comes through at the end. Might think this is new world blind.
