December 1, 2022 - Very good for the classification. Elegant style with mineral and cherry. Decent balanced finish. I understand that the vineyard this is from sits on the same line as the premier crus in the village, but it's slopes to not face the proper direction to receive that classification.
Should drink nicely for a few more years. -

November 3, 2019 - Knightsbridge Annual Holiday Burgundy/Champagne Tasting and Sale (Northbrook, IL): Walk around tasting. Plenty of black cherry with roasted meat hints. Good balance in the middle, even if finishing slightly backward. Very good potential, 89+ points. Better to cellar a little longer.

September 16, 2019 - Nez peu intense, sur la fraise mûre et des notes d'élevage bien présentes. Bouche bien équilibrée, aux tanins soyeux mais ne traduisant en rien le terroir de Gevrey : c'est complètement impersonnel, d'un style international où l'élevage domine la fraise. En l'état, cette bouteille est plus qu'ennuyeuse !

November 11, 2018 - Knightsbridge Annual Holiday Burgundy/Champagne Tasting and Sale (Northbrook, IL): Tasting, brief note. Black berries, roasted beef and espresso. Old vine concentration. Ripe and fun, while also dense and powerfully long for its level. Impressive Village.

January 9, 2017 - Mostly Lavaux-St-Jacques. Slightly too ripe, lacking a bit of energy and elegance. Round and generous. Good length. 89-90+
