April 6, 2023 - I am surprised and delighted by this. Opened 2 hours ago, the first impressions were: big palate, lots of tannin, bit of a chemical finish. Paired with pan- fried duck, it has developed into a really satisfying wine. Good nose, broad and long on the. Palate, finish still pleasantly acidic, but if this was a bordeaux, you’d call it iodine!

January 4, 2023 - Bought this out of curiosity for the Pinotage grape since it’s supposed to be among the best labels available and carrying overall good grades. However the residual acetone smell and taste are there and I found it very off putting. I won’t ever be purchasing Pinotage again.

October 22, 2022 - Wanted to cry at the last sip
