February 14, 2020 - Die Reinheit der Frucht, die Intensität des Weins ohne überextrahiert zu sein, das ist phänomenale Ausgeglichenheit. Ganz vorne im Mund und in der Nase Walderdbeeren, die dann nahtlos zu schwarzen Beeren wechseln, die sich mit Orange- und Zitruszeste mischen. Sehr saftig im Mund, voll und mit einer schönen Struktur. Der Trinkfluss des Weines ist großartig, eine reine Freude. Ich bin unheimlich gespannt wie es mit dem 2016er weitergeht.

March 1, 2019 - Abel Mendoza (Abel Mendoza, San Vicente de la Sonsierra, Rioja): Deep and dense ruby to purple. Dark red fruit. Concentrated and with a purity. Very fat in the glass. Good depth of fruit. A good thwack of tannin on the finish too. Good steak wine. **(*)

February 13, 2019 - Picota cubierto. Nariz intensa, con buena expresión frutal, matices especiados y sensaciones tostados. En boca tiene buen ataque, cuerpo medio, un tanino muy fino y bien integrado, estructura media y notable longitud.

June 15, 2018 - This one needs time... Very strong tannin, even though it is not green, very refined and well done. It feels very much like a Bordeaux and in the best way you can imagine, with strong fruit like blueberry, elder, pitch black cherry or something like this. Also some floral charakter. I think I´ll give it some time in the bottle and revisit it tomorrow and the day after. Promising!
