January 14, 2020 - Attended Savaterre dinner at SKAI. Lovingly prepared by Executive Chef, Paul Hallet. Proudly joined by Keppell Smith, co-owner of Savaterre Wines, the man behind the brand that advocates au naturel sheds light on the humble beginnings of the fruits of his labour. Savaterre's vineyard has been named in the top 25 vineyards in Australia and is elevated at 440m (1440 feet) above sea level and is farmed along with organic principles. No pesticides are used. Savaterre Chardonnay is in Langton's Classification of Australian Wine and served in Emirates Airlines First Class. Served in the first course chilled lobster with wasabi leaf, vichyssoise and caviar.

January 29, 2017 - Very rich nose, nice definition, hint of spice; fresh entry with apple and clean green melon flavours. Crisp. Quite intense and concentrated. More obvious fruit and accessibility than the straight chardonnay.
