June 24, 2022 - Definitely benefited from opening and decanting a few hours, which makes me think that this needs another year. Still delicious and like my previous bottle. 89 points

May 10, 2022 - Winetasting @romaintaupenot #taupenotmerme #moreysaintdenis 2014 this is drinking superbly a lovely balance between red fruits and forest floor. Palate has red plums, cherry, strawberries and raspberries with a gentle acidity and oak spice and is, to be frank, bloody lovely
    .
@domaine_michel_lafarge #volnay #vendagesselectionees 2014 very young with some grippy tannins, but plenty of fruit to make it accessible now, but I'm laying the other 5 bottles for 10 years.
    .
@domaine_de_l_arlot #nuitstgeorges 2013. Just starting to hit its stride. Dark red fruits and some earthiness. Smooth tannins and lots of fruit, in a few years this will be stunning
    .
@frommwinery #cuveeh 2015. Their first vintage of this new cuvée and what a delicious wine. A little smokiness, savoury red cherry and a little soy sauce. A touch lighter than the burgundies but a beautifully balanced wine and certainly has a few more years to develop
    .
@feltonroad #calvert 2017 An absolute wonderful nose of red cherry, spicey cloves, a little smoke. This is such a lovely drinking wine right now a real delight for a #pinotlover

November 25, 2018 - Ruby-purple of medium opacity. A delicate nose - cherries, raspberries, and something darkly toasted. On the palate, undemonstrative at first. The label talks of 'understated intensity, elegance and finesse' and I couldn't put it better myself, as it does possess all those qualities. The wine opens up shyly, but is remarkably long; the length gives the opportunity to appreciate its very fine tannin structure, its perfect balance of acidity and ripeness, and the subtle interplay of its flavours. Undoubtedly a beautifully made wine...am I crass for wishing it was just a bit more exciting? 13.5%, cork.

May 15, 2018 - A Biodynamic Bonanza (P&V wine & liquor, Enmore Road, Newtown): A little concentrated dark cherry, a little oak, vanilla, sweet spice, touches of black berry almost. Juicy, fleshy, a little tight needs time for me. Dark fruits travels long. Pretty good.

    December 5, 2017 - medium ruby color.
Quite intense nose of red fruit and forest floor.
Intense palate, neutral and balanced, on the tart side, medium plus body, light tannins.
Long finish that becomes bitter over time
