August 10, 2020 - The 2014 Ramey Woolsey Road Vineyard is a rich and layered wine. Lemon, nuts, vanilla, salt. This is drinking beautiful right now.

Definitely California.
Toasted coconut. Very long. Full mouthfeel. Some butter but not over the top. Some nuttiness-maybe raw cashews or raw almonds.

January 8, 2020 - Never had this in its youth, but seems time for RRV chardonnay lovers to drink while the fruit still stands strong. I get the stone, chalk and citrus without cream or toast notes, strange to me for a 100% malo, relatively well-oaked wine.
