July 9, 2020 - To keep the Rockford theme running into the night some desert and a cheese platter was washed down with this wine and 2014 disgorged Black ( because we can) . The Black was way too young. This however at 11 years old was in the start of its drinking window. Superb acid balanced with sweet ripe semillon tropical flavours. Not cloying, long sweet and seamless. Just a lovely little drop. no need to age further but dont be in a rush. a nice change from a Sauternes. yummy.

November 27, 2017 - Chirong's Annual Pilgrimage (Cellar Door): Green fruit, juicy, hay, tomato leaf, chlorine, tea leaf, incredibly crisp acidity, hay, sweet but taut acid balance. Vibrant and rings like a bell.
