May 12, 2018 - Profound aromatics. Tastes lively, not too old.

April 16, 2018 - Double decanted for 5 hours. Nose was amazing from the moment it was opened, and only got better from there. Drank like pure silk -- one of the best Riojas I have ever had.

October 21, 1989 - Fully mature, shiny; robust, open, lots of vanilla, crushed fruit, elegant, spicy, nice freshness; elegant, balanced, distinguished, stately, less weight than the Campeador 1978, harmonious; excellent length, good fruit, a bit drying.
