  February 5, 2022 - Drinking very well. Great sweetness to this wine, good acidity, dark red in colour, moderate tannins, dark fruit flavours with a slight hint of candied cherries. Good length. At 14 % this hides the alcohol well. Tannins are present on the back of the palate leaving a slight dryness.

  June 8, 2020 - slight menthol on the nose, big tannins first then a wave of dark fruits on the palate , the tannins coat the mouth with a dryness and woody oak taste that dominates. Question for me is will the tannins soften and the fruit become more prevalent with time? Will forget about this and try another bottle in a few years.

  June 30, 2019 - Musique & Vin Pre-Concert Volnay Dégustation (Château du Clos de Vougeot): Tasting, brief note. Red and black cherry throughout, all ripe and sweet with good power. Less classic for Volnay, but fun already now with the ability to age and evolve.
