September 6, 2017 - Good stuff ,Madeira like, good balance, not too sweet as acid balances, expensive but probably worth it, tasted at winery.

May 1, 2017 - Wine tasting in Greece; 4/28/2017-5/6/2017 (Athens, Santorini and Porto Heli): Tasting visit to Estate Argyros. Last wine of the line up and definitely wine of the day for the group. 80% Assyrtiko, 10%Aidani, 10% Athiri - barrel aged for 20 years. Ark caramel color, complex nose of dried fruits and cocoa. On the palate this is very complex and with layered flavors of raisins, butterscotch, figs, lemon zest, caramel, cocoa, herbs, Toasted nuts and coffee with an incredibly long finish. The sweetness is supported by the natural acidity of the grape. Really special. Winery says this will age for 100 years and maintain flavor after opening in the fridge for a couple of months. Try it if given the chance.
