Community Tasting Notes 3

March 2, 2018 - Drank this wine twice - first on BA flight from London to Las Vegas and then second on the way back. The first time it was served nice and cold and hit all the right notes of a citrusy Loire-like finish with a lot of salinity and smoky minerals. Delicious and easily an 89. On the way back it was either served too warm or lacked the magic and seemed flabbier. 88-89 seems reasonable.

August 7, 2017 - By the glass from a fresh bottle curtesy of BA en route to NY.
Not our tipical NZ Sauvignon blanc and felt a bit more cool climate old world ( in a nice way). The grassy feel is of course there but light. Good citrus notes that add a crisp side to it, firm and with a lot more structure, light touch of minerality. Feels like very little oak was used here and rightly so. Good wine, felt like an 89

June 14, 2017 - Wanna "Heroic Vineyards"? Visit Lebanon; 6/14/2017-6/18/2017 (Beirut - Lebanon): A pale metallic yellow colour. Honestly it smells like a Rueda wine. Those fennel and those bitter anise notes. No place like home. As expected in the mouth is very short and a little tannic but still nice. I understand what's looking the BA sommelier.

De un pálido amarillo metálico. Sinceramente huele a vino de Rueda. Esos hinojos y esos anis amargos. Como en casa. Como se esperaba en boca es muy corto y un poco tánico pero aún así agradable. Voy entendiendo que busca ofrecer el sommelier de BA
