September 1, 2018 - Unfortunately pretty much over the hill. AN oxidized nose with some remnants of what it was. Bit of apple juice in the mouth, but also some taste of its past glory

June 12, 2014 - Light yellow in colour, extremely young! Nose of grilled nuts, mineral white fruits! Low in acidity, smooth palate, rich and creamy! Short finish! Very well made! Drinking beautifully now!

January 1, 2014 - This was a big wow for me, has evolved into an impressive meursault with everything you could ask. Balance btw acidity (now mellowed) and roundness is great, still power in the fruit and it kept on changing from nuts and butter to smokey and refined and back again. Loved it!

January 2, 2013 - Oxidized past any pleasurable point. No Score

January 22, 2011 - This wine has aged beautifully. No sign of oxidation, phew! Complex and intense nose of honeyed nuts, lemons and apples. So fresh on the palate with excellent acidity, lemon oily, some apple skins. Not big, more elegant touch. Long complex finish carried by the lemony acidity. Excellent in its own right and it is very rare I rate village bourgogne at 90 pts.

(Matrot Meursault) I cannot think of a better village white burg than this. High acids, nutty overtones, wonderful iodine-like minerality and a long finish with loads of apple/pear fruit. Really good spine of acidity that will take this a long way.

(Matrot Meursault) Stunning nose of minerals and complex nutty Meursault aromas. Clean and pure palate with a wallop of fruit and taut acidity.

(Matrot Meursault) Classic Meursault with a nice nutty/iodine nose with a crisp palate with everything in perfect place. Nothing profound but a very stylish wine from a great vintage.
