  December 28, 2009 - Dark fruits and liquorice on the nose. Rich dusty black fruit on the palate with hints of liquorice, cedar and toast. Savoury. Still quite a bit of tannin though softening. Initially thought fruit might be fading quickly given the vintage, however, the wine opened up nicely in the glass. Exceptional length. Drinking well now.

  May 10, 2009 - Lovely wine. Smooth, well-integrated tannins, with notes of leather, dark fruit, and a hint of anise. Enjoyed with friends, and a fantastic pairing for the homemade lasagna.
