    October 17, 2017 - 12% alcohol.

Intense and ever so slightly hazy lime green color. Somewhat restrained, high-strung nose with aromas of steel, some rubbery reduction, a little bit of fresh yellow apple and a hint of stony and slatey minerality. The wine is dry, medium-bodied and quite focused with fresh, concentrated flavors of ripe apples and white peaches, some steely minerality, a hint of chalky bitterness and a touch of wet stones. The wine is pretty light on its feet, yet the concentrated fruit brings in a touch of oiliness to the mouthfeel. The finish is pretty dry and crisp with pronounced high acidity and fruity, medium-long flavors of ripe mealy apples, some fresh white peach, a little bit of stony minerality and a hint of white pach.

A stylish and harmonious, yet also somewhat one-dimensional and linear Pinot Blanc from Mosel. The wine shows that typical lightness, freshness and elegance of Pinot Blancs grown in Mosel, yet there is some sense of concentration that sets it apart from most Pinot Blancs made there. However, the wine lacks the depth and complexity of the wines made in a bit warmer regions - there is lovely freshness and precision here, but the wine still feels a bit simplistic and lacking in complexity. It's just fresh apples, white peaches and some minerality all the way - something not unlike in entry-level Pinot Blancs from Alsace. I find this wine very enjoyable as a simple everyday wine, thanks to its freshness and structure, but I still prefer Pinot Blancs with more depth and character.

September 4, 2017 - Rich, medium body pinot blanc with Mosel's terroir typicity. Honeyed sweet with piercing lemony acidity, balanced and long. Very tasty, broad, clean. Good value.
