Something seemed wrong with this bottle, which was so backward, angular and awkward, completely different vs when tasted from barrel or what I get from any 2016.

June 21, 2017 - Olivier Bernstein Cellar Visit and Barrel Tasting (Beaune): Barrel tasting. The most concentrated wine in the lineup, but also the most backward (only one really backward). Darkest of black fruit with extremely firm tannins. I have often found OB Grand Crus to hit their stride young, with '07, '08 and '10 quite tasty today, but this wine will require plenty of cellar time.
