August 30, 2019 - This almost has a weightless feel in the mouth. Quite open for business with only 15 minutes in a decanter. Gorgeous spiced raspberry flavors in a wine so refined it's challenging to describe. This was divine. Hard to say if this might shut down shortly but I'd tend to think it will.

August 13, 2019 - Dense dark red fruit with great structure. Certainly capable of dealing with its dose of wood and turning it into spice over time. 95+

April 20, 2019 - The first smell was of sarsaparilla root. There are all sorts of black and blue fruits, some sweet meat and fresh flowers. It is a dense, rich and powerful wine but light on its feet. There’s not a hair out of place and the finish is perfumed and expansive, driving on and on.

March 9, 2019 - La Paulée de NY Grand Tasting (Pier 60 - NYC): Another step-up in density, concentration and intensity of flavor. Wow, so powerful yet round. Loads of meaty spice. Long, long finish. 95+

March 9, 2019 - La Paulée de New York Grand Tasting (Pier Sixty - New York NY): Tasting, brief note. More black vs red berry with some rich plum notes and delicate spice. Long, expanding finish is incredibly bright with brilliant and sophisticated tannins. Just so good, with the only negative thing I can say is that the Clos Vougeot tasted next was even more exciting.
