July 1, 2023 - Blood, iron, blackberry, mulch. Very savoury. Clove. Medium bodied, softened tannin. This is still a powerful wine. Long fruit finish. Excellent.

July 23, 2022 - Black fruit, blackberry and blackcurrant. Very savoury smell, meaty and cedary, menthol. Something indistinct herbal: bay perhaps. Medium bodied, tannins well resolved. High acid, clean mouthfeel, no oiliness. Excellent. Fully ready.

July 17, 2022 - Rhone 2022; 7/11/2022-7/17/2022 (Rhone): Again, a slightly difficult tasting experience at the domaine due to no airing of the wine. Nevertheless, I've followed this over a few years from previous bottles.
A bit of brett initially, not unpleasant to my nose. Earthy, lovely violet scented blackberry. Mushroom and pork fat, black olive. Savoury finish, tannins well resolved. Ready to drink. Excellent. -

December 25, 2018 - Not sure if this was perhaps a bit stale or corked, but it didn't quite have the fruit that the previous bottles had. Nevertheless: some smoke and fat on the nose with subdued sweet black fruit. Medium bodied with oak spice. Very earthy and a bit of iron. Long finish of mushrooms and earth. Very good indeed.
