September 22, 2018 - Deep, dark reddish-purple in color. Full, fragrant & attractive nose of ripe fruit aromas of boysenberries, raspberries & plums, with overtones of floral notes of violets & earthy/dusty notes, spices, herbs & some minerals. Medium bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, ripe fruit flavors of raspberries, boysenberries & tart cranberries, dusty, spices & a touch of minerals. Lingering finish. Drinks quite well with decanting & airing but will develop further with additional aging.

Encore ? Oui, il descend bien !
