July 31, 2023 - Honeydew melon, apple, pear, rainier cherry, apricot, and white peach fruit with dried pineapple, raw cashews, spring meadow, ginger, jasmine tea, and just a touch of cayenne on the finish. Oily thick texture. All the flavor components of good Marsanne/Roussanne are there, but this is more restrained from bottles that I have had from other, more-famous appellations. It also needs a bit more acid, but there’s a touch of lemon on the finish.. This didn’t hold up well to richer dishes like rabbit stew, but it was a nice match with Brandade. Good, but I have liked other wines made with these grapes better. Saint Peray is mostly known for sparkling wine made from Marsanne and Roussanne, but is also respected for its still white wines.

    No formal TN, very nice.

November 21, 2022 - Floral and powdery on the nose - it’s that sort of makeup smell of a great aunt’s handbag (I say that with love!). Stonefruit and a crisp tartness initially on the palate, but opens up to give apple pie and dried pineapple. It’s great.

    July 21, 2022 - 3rd bottle from a 6 pack, last consumed about 1.5 yrs ago.
At that time, I said this wine was "not in my wheelhouse". But today, I changed my mind.
Enjoyed this with some spicy Thai food, and it was such a delicious match.
Stone fruits like peach and pear, with some hazelnut or almond nuttiness, some chalky minerals, nicely supported with firm acidity, keeping the wine from being too generous or oily.
Just really loved it this evening. Drink through 2025 or so, delicious.

May 7, 2022 - Top Saint Péray. Needed some time to open up. But once it did, it impressed
