November 19, 2018 - Grüner Veltliner & Super-Tuscans @ VINEUM (Vineum, Rotterdam): Tasted blind @ VINEUM. A bit "cooler" then the previous Prager GV, but with ripe prune fruit and a mineral driven finish!

Intense but youthful green-tinged white golden colour; both more closed and riper nose than the previous wine; quite a lot of power on the palate, but the concentration is reined in by firm acidity, full flavours, ripe fruit but mineral and precise, slightly earthy and meaty, hint of pepper; very good length. Needs a lot of time.

Nose: expressive mango/ lemon,mineral. Nose keeping on for 2 hrs
Palate: smooth, fruit forward, tropical fruit dominate, with lemon, mango, mineral strong at the end.
Jz acidity a bit low but clean and easy to drink! good. Can't expect such a young wine be ready to drink. Lively fruit and good pair with food!
